The house was designed on the principle of low consumption of energy, direction south to the rear façade, open onto the garden and a walkway along soon to link the rooms from the outside and to protection authority to sunlight intensive summer as the floor due to overflowing roof. Implementation of the house in a prime location for major trees dictated the architecture of it, the use of resources on the site (mature spruce) has achieved self-construction of internal partitions and the structure of the car-port.
The volume opens fully on the site. The windows are
4S solar control, also limiting the problems of overheating.
The building envelope includes an insulated roof with 22 cm, 15 cm in interior and exterior walls and 10 cm of insulation cork panels to the floor.
The building is equipped with a heated floor completed by topping up a tape timber.
The breakdown of the building is Type C, single mechanical flow.
All these measures give a K27 energy to the building.
