Preparations for

Valborg At 2 days, some things are necessary. The most important is the purchase of alcohol course. Helsinki

A little late in the year, but now we can say "It happened" about Helsinki. Check
17h Tuesday to Stockholm ferry terminal with ferry Silja Line Company, arriving in Helsinki at 10:00 the next morning (1 hour time difference with Sweden) and returned to Stockholm at 17:00. We therefore 7am to discover the Finnish capital.
The first contact will be the 3T tram that circles the city, and we can make a sightseeing at the cost of a tram ticket, a small brochure explaining all the things to see through the window of the tram.
After this hour's tram stop in front of the famous Protestant Lutheran cathedral, beautiful and very sober inside (Protestantism requires). Then, towards the Orthodox Cathedral (Russia bordering Finland).
After we head into the new downtown, beautiful and resemblance to downtown Stockholm (smaller ;-)). Walk to soak up the atmosphere of the Finnish capital. We also had the opportunity to see the Central Station in neo-classical The temple built in granite (we meet even some Italian Erasmus Uppsala :-)), different malls purely Finnish architecture and / or Scandinavian (functionalist, optimization of brightness, simplicity, seamless integration into the landscape) Museum of Contemporary Art "Kiasma (Recognized worldwide for its beautiful architecture), ...

The impression one has arrived in the Finnish capital is that people bearing the face of Nordic type, are quite unique. The facial features are unique but still very beautiful, intriguing. Finland has two national languages: Suomi (Finnish) and the Swedes, and yes both languages Belgium national remind me, everything is written in both languages ;-).

Helsinki is a city relatively calm, despite the fact that it is the Finnish capital, it is not great and it gives it a certain charm even if it changes Stockholm.

In two months ...

Today we are on April 15 in two months we will be on 15 June and will be the day I return to my little Belgium. And so it goes fast, very fast!

But far from wanting to fall into nostalgia and melancholy, rather we take things head on and it does a quick list of everything you want to do before the big day.

Among what we want to do is obviously Traveling with a large V because a lot of dreams will do!

Nico Morgan Me and we got around a table to fix everything we wanted to see. Here's the short list:

- Copenhagen (Denmark), Malmö, Lund (the South)
- Gothenburg and Bohuslän coast (West Coast)
- Oslo (Norway)
- Helsinki (Finland)
- Tallinn (Estonia)
- Gotland

You tell me: "Can not do anything in 2 months!" and I reply "If, with a very good organization and a pragmatic"

We found a solution for 3premiers: Copenhagen, Gothenburg and Oslo . The solution is to do everything on the same trip to save as much money on trips ( follow the link to locate all the towns on a map ). Departure on or about May 9, back around the 19 May. 3.5 days in the region of Copenhagen, Gothenburg and 3.5 days for the west coast and finally arrived in Oslo on May 17 and the Norwegian national day. Exciting, 10 days outside our little cocoon Uppsalien, what happiness, hoping to meet other students on our little expedition.

Regarding Helsinki and Tallinn , the best solution is the ferry. The ferry is an institution for the Swedes. We're not going to lie, the Swedes are used to take to the islands of Åland to refuel alcohol Free Tax (due to monopoly and high prices Sweden). They also have the habit of taking it to go to Helsinki or in the capitals of Baltic countries, for a cruise frenzied. Indeed, students take the ferry to Sweden to celebrate cheaper on the boat. We'll take it with the most common formula, a night ferry, arriving in Helsinki, a day there and return to Sweden (for example, starting Tuesday evening, a day on Wednesday in Helsinki, return on Thursday morning in Stockholm) . All for the modest sum (promo Crazy Days ;-)) of 84 kr round trip (about 9 €) if you are 4personnes. That's the way to Helsinki and Tallinn, we Ferron are two excursions by ferry, one this week and next week.

We have the last little trip, the island of Gotland . Beautiful island, especially the countryside more than all the Swedes we repeat that we will be amazed by this landscape so special and so different from the normal landscape Swedes. Again, we take the ferry, which is the most economical solution to get there (3semaines book in advance, it will be cheaper). We thought the best solution to enjoy the landscape of the island is wild camping (I like that term but in Sweden we have the right to camp in the wilderness through the right of access to nature for all, unique in Europe). Indeed it is a very economical solution that allows us ask ourselves where we want. We'll move the beginning of June 3, four days when the weather is looking good for camping.

not forget a trip to Italy, to Rome, and certainly join my beloved travel or Milan or Venice

Who said life was hard for students ;-).

And here, we toured the travel as far to say that the 15 June I will have happy memories before boarding the plane.

After reviewing the travel, it is worth reviewing what would be done before this adventure comes to an end.
First, enjoy life day by day with the sun coming into the game. Barbecues become legion over the rooftops of Flogsta, parts of Kubb games (Swedish wood, replacing the bowls in summer ;-)), ballads bike, ...
Second, Valborg, this name is the name of the festival celebrated the end of April. Pagan festival, which gathers a huge crowd in Uppsala. All students in Sweden and even Europe (former Eramsus, friend of Erasmus ,...) head to Uppsala for a huge party. Unimaginable as it seems. It looks forward, it will sink in alcohol scourge ;-)!
Then enjoy Stockholm with this beautiful weather, the city is superb, the lighting effects are fantastic. A small boat trip in the archipelago is expected to discover all these little secret paradise.
Then, partying like it should, the roof party will multiply, so it will enjoy a sun that touches midnight.

And yet much in anticipation, all at breakneck speed, of course!
